Political map of Russia & the former Soviet Union 1 February 1921 (“Green” Revolts): On 15 November 1920 the remaining White forces (White movement) in the west evacuated the Crimea. This marked a new phase in the Russian Civil War (Left-wing uprisings against the Bolsheviks) as the alliance between the Bolsheviks (Bolshevik) and the other left wing parties collapsed. Many peasants, sailors (Kronstadt rebellion), anarchists, and Social Revolutionaries (Socialist-Revolutionary Party) now rose up against Communist oppression.
